How to Assign or Update User Roles

How to Add/Edit Security Roles 

 

To Add or Edit Security Roles, follow these steps below 

 

  • *Click on Setup > Security Roles  

  • 1. If Adding a New Role 

  • a. Click the   icon to Add a New Security Role 

  • b. Enter a Role Name > Role Description  

  • c. Assign Functions and Permissions for the new Security Role 

  • d. Click the  icon  

  • 2. If Updating the Security Role 

  • a. Select the Role you wish to edit 

  • b. Use checkboxes to Assign or Unassign Functions and Permissions 

  • c. Click the icon

  1. Web Service Access - Only allows data posting. Does not allow login to Inline
  2. Sales Manager - Manages sales team
  3. FTP Admin Access - Allows management of FTP folders and allows login to Inline
  4. FTP Users - Only allows posting files on FTP folders via a third-party FTP software like FileZilla
  5. Sales Rep - Quotes and sells policies
  6. Customer Service - Manages policies
  7. Sales Rep Sr. - Like sales rep with more viewing permission
