How to Reset User Password

Follow the steps below to unlock a user that has been locked out from accessing Inline.  

  1. Go to Set up > Manage Users > Users 

  1. Search for the User you want to reset 

  1. Click the edit pencil  

 

  1. Uncheck the Locked-Out check box 

  1. Click the Change Password 

  1. Update the password and confirm change 

  1. Click Save 

 

The required Role to adjust the settings can be found by following the below steps: 

  1. Go to Setup > Security Roles 

  1. Choose the role you want from the selection 

  1. Verify the check box is set for the following variables 

  1. View Manage Users->User Roles 

  1. View Manage Users SubMenu 

 

Have the user, clear out their cache and cookies and go to the website directly  

  1. Avoid using saved bookmarks as the page might be cached 

  1. They can resave their bookmark after their password has been successfully logged in 

  1. Have the user, reset their password by clicking their login name > then User Settings 

 



We recommend setting strong password criteria to maintain the integrity of your system. 

Password settings can be updated by following the below steps: 

Go to Setup > Environment > Settings > Security Settings > Update criteria > Save
