How to Create a User

Below are the steps to create a user so they have access to Inline.  

Go to Setup > Manage Users > Add new User 

 

Below is a brief list of the options when creating a new user with information included. 

Username: is the credentials the user will enter to login 

Password and confirm password: will be the first password 

Email: Will provide the email address that will populate in the send field on emails 

Alt Email: provide a drop-down selection where the alternative email may be used 

Affiliate: Will limit the affiliates the user will have access to when quoting 

Rate Filter Set: Will establish what level access discount capabilities 

Hire Date: The start date for the associate 

Title: This field is title only and will not provide roles in the system 

Employee #: Provides option to add User ID 

Password Ex Rule: Creates a user level of how frequently the user must change their credentials.  

Phone Extension: Optional field if filled out can be used in the widget phone extensions  

Manager Field: This provides the user to be assigned to a manager, if the user becomes terminated later, any assigned tasks to that user will automatically be assigned to their assigned manager.
