How to Add Activity
Adding an Activity in Inline allows users to store follow-up information so they can be contacted later. Follow the steps below to utilize this area in the system.
1. Locate and click the Add Activity
Icon- This can be found on the Contact, Quote or Policy Page
2. When the box populates, ensure that the contact information is correct. Once
you have updated the necessary fields, click Save
a. Phone 1 – Add the preferred phone number
b. Phone 2 – Add Alternative phone number (optional)
c. Date and Time - Click the Calendar icon and set the date
i. Click the Clock icon and set the Time Picker
d. Assigned to – By default, it will automatically assign to self. With permissions, users can
assign to a different user.
f. Regarding – Add brief title
e. New Note – Add brief description (Ex. Call back to verify VIN)
The Activity Tab in Contacts, Quote or Policy can be found in the second to last tab and has 3 actions available.
a. Delete Icon – Delete Activities, this setting is permission restricted
b. Pencil Icon – Provides the ability to edit the call back
i. Click on the calendar, change the date
ii. Click on the Clock, change the time
iii. Update title and notes if applicable
iv. Keep the bubble for Complete? To No, then click save
c. Complete Icon – Auto populates this will close out the callback after clicking save
Activities Widget – Provides a place to list all activities and can be utilized on the dashboard
